The independent film Heart of Gold is an American Sun Films production directed by Steve Kwasnik in association with TPS. ARTFORCE's Michael Vechesky was hired as the Director of Photography.

Colonel Dawson (Hansford Rowe), an elderly white officer, is mismatched in a veterans hospital room with Private Curtis (Cecil Martin), a young black soldier wounded in Vietnam. Although infuriated, Private Curtis reaches out selflessly, despite the Colonel's bitterness and bigotry.
